While waiting for oil to drain: Check Drain Plug

  • Helpful Tip: After oil is thoroughly drained, it's a good idea to always check your Drain Plug for any metal shaving and any other foreign materials as this indicate excessive engine wear !
  • to wipe it around, use rag, towel, or anything just make sure this little badboy is thoroughly cleaned of anything: "Clean is Good" !
  • Helpful Tip:

Part of Oil draining process is to extra Wipe Clean on all surfaces around Drain Plug and Oil Filter for free of debris and other foreign materials by using any rag or towel: "Clean is Good" !   🙂

  • K&N Oil Filter is highly recommend !
  • Helpful Tip:

Always a good idea to Dab Oil around the Filter Seal so that it can secure Tighter once installed.  "Lubrication is Good" 🙂

  • Installing Oil Filter: may use the filter ranch or simply your hands; for tightness please revert to your Owner's Manual.

  • Helpful Tip:
  • When draining oil, always want to make sure that your bike is leveled to get proper oil drain.
  • Spark Plug is totally correct !! :
  • "It may sound silly and basic, but when NOT done properly this process may result in engine damage! Simple mistake can be very costly !!!"
  • Reinstalling Plastic Cover
  • Spark Plug's helpful advise:
  • always make sure to double check the Tightness of both installed Drain plug and new Oil Filter before placing back the Plastic Cover.. as this may save your life !
  • Use allen ranch to Re-install Plastic Cover
  • (make sure of ALL nuts & bolts tightly secured )
  • Finally !! the badboy is getting some Fresh OIL !
  • this suzuki requires 2700ml
  • Most bikes have this feature: side window indicator, simply to verify proper Oil Level
  • for those who don't have the luxury of side window, just don't screw it up 🙂
  • Spark Plug's advise:

Always select top quality Engine Oil ! it's your bike, personal choice, so make the best one:)

  • Suzuki Performance 4 Motor Oil
  • 10-W-40 MA Rating JASO
  • badboy needs 2700 mL

each quart container = .946L

2 containers = 1.892L

remaining should be = 808L

total to = 2700L

(yup Spark Plug said '908' instead, and should be '808' :p I guess that's what happened when you tried to calculate it on top of head while tape was still running)

  • You will need Oil Funnel
  • when pouring oil, take your time ! no need to rush this just slowly and making sure not to spill all over the engine parts 🙂
  • Spark Plug advise:
  • After all done, please Dispose all old Oil into proper RECYCLE facility !
  • Knowledge is power !

this may save money and life ...

  • start your bike for a quick couple minutes to check if oil was properly done
  • Finally !!

Badboy is all oiled up and ready for summer riding 🙂

  • Enjoy Responsibly: Do NOT Drink and Ride !
